🎉IT’S OFFICIAL🎉

Atlantic Wedding Showcase has their 2025 date solidified! The best, longest running and largest wedding show in Atlantic Canada will be taking place on Sunday, Nov. 16th at Pier 21, Halifax, NS!

This year’s event will be better than ever with the introduction of exciting new elements to the show, such as:
✨Interactive Experiences and an array of show sections to choose from
✨A makers market to get your hands on all those local handmade and homemade goods
✨A first look foyer and MainStage immersive happenings!

And of course, all the classics with so many prizes, a honeymoon vacation and exclusive deals.

Exhibitor applications for returning vendors are live now, and will be live to new vendors on Thursday, April 17th! Space is limited and in high demand, so get on top of it - we’re genuinely not kidding 👏

Ticket sales will be live SO soon! Keep your eyes peeled for an announcement but FYI - by popular demand, a VIP experience will be back🤩

AWS 2024 has come to a close and for once in my life I’ve been speechless 💖 Our community, our genuine admiration and respect for each other was never more present as it was at this year’s AWS. I’m proud that I have the honour of providing this platform to all of you to share, collaborate, promote, celebrate yourselves and each other. 💖

To see, in front of my eyes, the collaboration between all of you to bring each other’s booth designs to life, the helpful spirit I had the opportunity to witness just blew my mind. I’m in awe . We’re truly like a fam💖

Thank you all so much for trusting me. Thank you for understanding that we had to find a new home, and for blindly jumping in and giving it your all/putting your AWS fate in my hands. Because of you, I’ve had the confidence to make AWS 2024 the best and most successful show we’ve ever had👏🙏

In reflection, it wasn’t long ago that I found myself questioning if I could keep AWS alive. Things were looking bleak, the cost of our previous venue was just too high, feedback made it evident that load in and out/cost of power was too difficult and too high for businesses of all sizes, especially small businesses. It was a struggle for my creative spirit to host a show in a corporate environment. I felt as if my flame was being extinguished, therefore my heart wasn’t in it.

To add to the difficulty, I regularly had some in the industry who have been around for as long as I have, constantly comparing me to outdated days gone by, especially behind my back. To me, this was crushing because as you all know, I put my heart and soul into this show. This one and only thing, I will always have difficulty understanding and it almost did me in.

In realization, who would I be if I let these things hold me back! How can I be an industry leader/supporter and let minor (ok major 😋) roadblocks hold me back! How can I pump others up but let the option and disapproval of a minute group of individuals stop me! I simply wouldn’t! I used it as fuel and inspiration and it showed!

So thank you all for showing up in a huge way with a big heart and all the support in the world. We did it together guys and I’m excited for the future 💖

AWS gives back 🛩️✈️

This post is a bit different, guys! AWS is proud to support Dreams Take Flight. This Sunday at Atlantic Wedding Showcase their amazing team of volunteers will be on site selling raffle tickets on flights to anywhere flys! I’m asking vendors and attendees alike to donate if they can (an ATM is on site).

A bit about Dreams Take Flight:

The Dreams Take Flight team believes we can make a significant difference in these children’s lives by opening up a window of possibilities without limitations.

Dreams Take Flight Atlantic provides the trip of a lifetime to deserving children. Each year, our Atlantic chapter accompanies over 140 children from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI, & Newfoundland to Disney World in Orlando Florida. Our mission is to provide these deserving children one magical day, regardless of the challenges they face in their everyday lives. This adventure gives these children the chance to escape from their day to day reality while allowing them to know their worth, develop self-esteem, and independence.
