🥃 Visit a distillery normally closed to the public.

This September, just 10 guests will get the chance to step inside Aberargie Distillery for a very special Sip Seekers Unlocked experience.

Set amongst its own barley fields in Perthshire, Aberargie is an independent, family-owned distillery with a true barley-to-bottle approach & it isn’t ordinarily open for public tours.

On Thursday 24 September, Head of Production Graeme will open the doors for an exclusive 2-hour Insider Tour, taking you behind the scenes through production & into the maturation warehouse.

- Welcome dram on arrival
- Discover Aberargie’s estate-grown barley and barley-to-bottle approach
- Behind-the-scenes production and warehouse access
- Exclusive warehouse tasting, including new make spirit- Taste Aberargie’s highly anticipated new expressions, launching this September
- Locally prepared lunch- Opportunity to purchase the new releases
- Driver’s dram packs available

**Return transport from Edinburgh city centre is available for an additional £20 per person.**

New obsession unlocked: Greek wine. 🍷🇬🇷

A few things I learned…

💗 Pink wine isn’t automatically sweet! Some of our favourite wines of the evening were crisp, dry & incredibly refreshing.

🍇 Some smaller vineyards work together as collectives, combining their grapes to make wine.

🇬🇷 Greece is home to hundreds of indigenous grape varieties & it was fascinating to learn how ancient winemaking traditions are shaping the country’s modern wine scene.

A huge thank you to the Greek Wine Collective (www.greekwinecollective.com) for such a fun & welcoming evening.

Every time we saw another beauty or fashion brand hosting a creator trip, we found ourselves asking the same question...

Why aren’t we doing more of this in Scotland’s drinks industry?

We have world-class producers, unforgettable experiences & passionate people behind every bottle. We wanted to create something that celebrated all of that while giving creators the chance to experience it for themselves.

So, Sip Diaries was born!

This first trip brought together incredible creators, Scottish brands, local businesses & two fantastic distillery partners for a weekend in Perthshire centred around stories, experiences & making memories.

There were plenty of moving parts (as you’ll see!), but seeing everyone leave with a genuine appreciation for the people behind Scotland’s drinks industry made it all worthwhile.

This is just the beginning for Sip Diaries & we can’t wait to share where we head next. 🥃
