Just about wrapping up the Scottish part of the tour, we are staying in Oban and our hotel is next door to St Columba cathedral which fascinated me as the architect was Giles Gilbert Scott who designed my city’s cathedral, Liverpool Cathedral!
We then got the ferry to Mull, drive to the West Point of Mull, got another ferry over to Iona and visited Iona Abbey (big tick list for me!)

Travelled up to Aviemore, right by Traitors station! Dalwhinnie Distillery (highest distillery in Uk)
Went to Speyside cooperage and learnt how to build a barrel, had no idea it was so physically demanding! Then another distillery Glendronach

Started in Edinburgh, got into famous Elephant Cafe which has just reopened! Whiskey experience and down into Mary Kings Close, more to follow!

Awww! Final day of with my Scottish literature group, starting with a quick visit into Glencoe visitor centre and saw a typical Turf cottage. Then through the glen past three sisters and saw a piper, lunching at Callander and finishing with a final Outlander photo shoot at Culross!

What a fab day! Weather was ace! Cruise on loch linnhe, seeing seals , otter and views of Ben Nevis! Also saw this abandoned whale boat called Moby that was to cross the Atlantic!
Then onto the only uk gondola 🚠 up Aonach Mor , finishing with a lovely meal in Fort William, they call this work? lol! Love my job ❤️
