The Holzschnitzerei Trummer woodcarving shop holds a special place in Venture Abroad’s heart. Girlguiding groups from Our Chalet have been visiting and purchasing unique gifts from the shop since it opened in 1945! Groups who have travelled with Venture Abroad have been visiting for over 40 years.

Check out this picture of the owner with VA representatives, shared with the marketing team from the 90s!

When visiting, you can expect a warm welcome from Karl and his family, as well as the chance to watch them carve amazing figures, decorations and more. And when you step inside the shop, don’t forget to look up at the ceiling, where you’ll find badges left behind by groups and VA representatives who have stopped by over the years!
