Kingsbridge Youth For Christ is a registered charity, No: 1137166, based in the South Hams of Devon, that is passionate about making a real difference to young people in Kingsbridge and the surrounding areas. Our mandate is to:

'Take good news relevantly to every young person in the South Hams'

We do this through a range of formal and non-formal activities at our weekly drop-in, our street te

ams, mobile project, work club, small group work and 1:1 mentoring. Our innovative projects and programmes are designed around meeting real local need and are developed in collaboration with the community in which we live and the young people themselves. We seek to demonstrate, promote and encourage Christian values including, dignity, respect and empowerment by developing friendships built on the foundation of trusting relationships and positive role models. We are proud of, and faithful to our Christian ethos and believe that the ultimate 'good news' is to experience and accept the love of God through Jesus Christ. However we will NOT co-erce, sensationalise or manipulate impressionable minds, only help interested young people explore issues of faith, when appropriate, from a Christian perspective and aid them in their individual journeys to find truth.

From September we are creating a brand new space for Year 7’s because our current youth club is at capacity! Between 6-7pm Year 7’s will have The Lounge space open for them and then from 7-8:30pm it will be open for Year 8-11. There will be all the same activities at each session! Just more space 👍 ooo and tonight we have a taster session for year 6 to come and see what The Lounge is like before September.

Chris’ God slot from The Lounge last night. Chris shares about the time when a car drove into his house at 70mph and how many ‘coincidences’ happened that made him believe that God was working and protecting everyone involved. Well worth a listen. 👂
