An ethical and inclusive small company that predominantly runs hill walking adventures.

 walks for beginners
 night hikes
 navigation courses
 help organise charity challenges
 wild camping weekends
 challenge hikes
 sunrise walks
 scrambling routes

We are based in Lincolnshire with navigation courses, day walks and night hikes all over the Lincolnshire Wolds and more recently Nottingha

mshire. The organise events all over the U.K. on the popular mountain areas and less well known adventures. We like to add value by enthusing about natural history and bring the walk to life. People who join our events maybe have hiked before but wish to learn to map read, want the hassle taken out of organising, want to join a group, want reassurance on a scramble eg on Tryfan/ Crib Goch or Helvellyn. Or they may be new to hill walking and want the reassurance of a Leader particularly at night. You can expect a warm welcome, an inclusive event, experienced and passionate staff who are fully insured and qualified.

Had a great morning at South Ormsby Estate on their “Cattle Tour” today. A two hour informative tour about their pure breed Lincoln Red herd followed by a delicious burger! South Ormsby herd are fully organic and ‘pasture for life’ as they manage their herd in a nature friendly, low impact, high welfare way. They have a small herd which moves pasture daily around their 5000acre estate. I learnt loads, loved the beef and bought some Lincolnshire gin!
South Ormsby Estate are putting birds and bird conservation at the heart of all their decision making!

More on that soon - a familiar face might just pop up leading their birding tours 😉

2026
You my have noticed we've started drip feeding our 2026 dates, particularly the bigger ones. This is because people like to 'save the date' and last year people were booking for the spring the previous autumn. We already announced
- 3 wildlife photography dates
- Lincolnshire birding holiday with Iolo
- Welsh 3000ers
- Eryri sunset and sunrise
in the coming weeks we will announce some Lincolnshire challenge walks, map reading dates, some more wildlife watching and some hikes to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Viking Way!

I know we haven't sent a mailing list recently but will send it once we finalised more of our plans!
We don't add previous customers to our events list unless they explicitly opt in - so if you want the list - get in touch.

We also had charities booking in their challenge date and companies booking in staff team building hikes already - if you've a group and an idea - get in touch!

Alternative Eryri/ Alternative Snowdonia night hikes 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
Siabod for Sunset 29th May 2026
Glyders for Sunrise 31st May 2026
Fancy something different and a little solitude? Read on!

Since Covid we’ve overseen around 50 “Snowdon sunrises” on Yr Wyddfa and if you’re keen and got a group we’d love to help! But numbers are building and recently a group waited 20 minutes at the summit at 4am. This got us thinking! We like to add value and something different…

Moel Siabod: 29th May. A lesser know gem! An optional simple scramble. Unrivalled views of the Snowdon Horseshoe (yr Wyddfa). Meeting at 6pm we’ll wander up in the light/dusk and descend in the dark! Aiming to be down before midnight!

Glyders: 31st May. 2 of the Welsh 3000ers, views of the Snowdon massif, Tryfan and the Carneddau. We’ll
Meet around 2am and ascend for sunrise, probably taking it in on Y Foel Goch on eastern end of Glyder Fach, we’ll take in Glyder Fawr and descend Devil’s kitchen (twll du) and some environmental chats in Cwm Idwal early morning!

We’re very excited to offer something different, quieter, spectacular but not quite as high.
