Stage 2 of the Lloyd’s The Tour Of Britain men's proved to be another unforgettable day for Lincolnshire! 🚲

Today, the 18 teams continued their journey with a spectacular 180km race from Boston to Skegness.

It was brilliant to see communities and cycling fans lining the route as the riders raced through the heart of the county before a thrilling finish on the Lincolnshire coast.

With both Boston and Skegness making their first appearances in the modern Tour of Britain, the stage marked an exciting new chapter in the race’s history. A huge congratulations to today’s winner, Tim Merlier! 🏁

Fancy a little treasure hunting? 🕰️✨

If you love a good browse, Lincolnshire has plenty of places where you never quite know what you might find.

Head to Hemswell, home to one of Europe’s largest antiques centres, where you’ll find buildings packed with every antique imaginable.

Then, of course, there’s Horncastle, where antique shops and emporiums fill the town with everything from vintage finds and collectables to furniture and plenty of hidden treasures.

Enjoy a very regal day out in Lincolnshire... 👑 🌿 ☀️

Just outside Lincoln, you’ll find Doddington Hall - a little slice of Elizabethan history, with beautiful gardens, centuries-old details and plenty to discover as you wander through the estate.

And for a little something unexpected, there’s just over a week left to see Sculpture at Doddington (closes on the 6th September), with contemporary works dotted throughout the historic gardens and grounds.

A meeting of old and new, and a lovely way to spend the day in Lincolnshire. ✨

Bring your own regal summer to life in Lincolnshire 🌺

And there’s plenty more to enjoy, with the Hall and Gardens open through September before the Pumpkin Patch returns in October 🎃
