The six-week holidays can feel like a lot 😅
A lot of planning.
A lot of pressure.
A lot of money.
A lot of guilt if you’re juggling work, childcare and trying to make it all feel “special.”
But here’s your reminder: your children don’t need a calendar full of expensive days out to have a brilliant summer.
Some of the moments they’ll remember most are the simplest ones like running around the park, eating sandwiches on a picnic blanket, getting soaked in the paddling pool, collecting sticks, staying up a little later because it’s still light outside.
Those moments matter just as much!
I’m also incredibly aware that this summer looks different for me than it did a few years ago. Having the flexibility to step back from work during the holidays is something I don’t take for granted, and it’s one of the reasons I’m so thankful I chose to build my travel business alongside family life 💜✈️
If you’re craving more flexibility in the future, I’d love to chat about what’s made that possible for me 😊
What’s been your children’s favourite simple summer memory so far? ☀️ 🥪 🚲 📚
