Riga… we’re coming back! 🇱🇻✈️

We first visited in 2019 for the Christmas markets — and we even had snow! ❄️

Fast forward to 2026 and we’re heading back, but this time we’re going to see a very different side of Latvia.

We’ve got 2 nights in Riga, including our first hotel collaboration that I’ve actually said YES to 🥹, before leaving the city to explore a national park, discover more of Latvia and finish up with a little spa time.

So… Riga in the snow ❄️ vs Riga in September 🍂

I have a feeling this trip is going to be VERY different.

There’s just something about travelling in autumn… 🍂

Crisp mornings, colourful roads, cosy campfires, mountain views and that feeling that you’ve escaped somewhere completely different 🥰

Oh this makes me so excited for our big road trip this autumn 🌍✈️

And if you’re got no trip abroad planned…….don’t worry! Apparently, after our warm, dry summer here in the UK, our colours are predicted to really pop this year 🥰🍁

🍂 THE PERFECT NEW ENGLAND FALL ROAD TRIP 🚗🇺🇸

If you’re dreaming of chasing autumn colours through New England, this is the road trip I’d recommend! 🍁

Starting in NYC, pick up your car and head north before working your way through:

🍂 Stowe, Vermont
🏔️ The White Mountains, New Hampshire
🌲 Acadia National Park, Maine
🌊 The Maine Coast
🎃 Salem, Boston & Cape Cod, Massachusetts
🏡 Rhode Island
🍁 Connecticut
…and then back to NYC! ✈️

Think scenic drives, mountain hikes, cute New England towns, coastal views, lighthouses, autumn colours and hopefully plenty of sunshine. 😂🍂

We did this trip in the fall and honestly… New England in autumn is something else. 🥹

So if you’re planning a fall trip to the USA, save this for later 📌 because I’ve packed some of our favourite stops into this route.

Which would you choose first?

From seeing the little pups at Donna Nook, to peaceful van adventures in the Outer Hebrides, to chasing the vibrant foliage around New England… 🍂🌍

I LOVE Autumn, and I’m so excited to see what South Korea has to offer. 🍁

I’ve heard foliage season in South Korea is meant to be something pretty spectacular! 😃

“Let’s have a relaxing day” I said… 🤪

And then I find another place we HAVE to visit, another viewpoint we HAVE to see and another restaurant we HAVE to try. 🤣🌍

Oh I’m like it every trip….in the van, on a road trip, in a city! 🙃

I genuinely don’t know how I’m going to cope with 25+ days and 4 countries when there is apparently SO MUCH TO SEE…... and I want to see it all! 🤪

Planning a 25+ day, 4-country trip sounded like a great idea… until I actually had to organise it. 😂✈️

Because apparently, booking the flights and hotels is the easy bit. 🤣

There’s also:

💉 Checking travel vaccines
🧳 Working out the baggage allowance for every airline
🚗 Sorting the right international driving permits
💊 Checking medication rules for each country
🛂 Making sure we meet all the entry requirements
🧥 Packing for completely different climates
🏨 Keeping track of 12+ hotels
✈️ Coordinating 6 flights, transfers & 4 car hires
📝 And about 472 other little things I’m probably forgetting… 😂

And because this trip is taking us through Türkiye 🇹🇷, Mongolia 🇲🇳, South Korea 🇰🇷 and Taiwan 🇹🇼, there’s a LOT to think about.

Honestly, planning the holiday has basically become a full-time job. 😂

But in 40 days… we actually get to go. 🥹🌏

So tell me…

THE SECRET IS FINALLY OUT… 👀🌍✈️

We’ve been keeping this one quiet for a while… but I can FINALLY tell you where we’re off to for our BIG autumn adventure! 🥹

25+ days.
4 countries.
6 flights.
12+ hotels.
4 car hires.
And one VERY full itinerary. 😂

And honestly… I’m SO excited but also slightly anxious — mostly wondering how the wolf is going to react to all of this! 🐺😬

There are places on this trip I’ve dreamed about visiting for years, experiences I still can’t quite believe we’re actually doing, and A LOT of travelling around. 🌏

But I have two very important questions…

🐺 Will the wolf behave itself for the whole trip?
🧸 And will I somehow manage to fit all the Snoopy souvenirs I inevitably buy into my suitcase?! 😜

Country number 4 of our BIG autumn adventure… 👀🌍

And this one is the final stop before we head home! ✈️🇬🇧

With just a week here, we will be squeezing a LOT into our days… from busy city streets and night markets 🏙️🥢 to mountains, national parks and hopefully some gorgeous autumn colours 🍂🍁

There’s also going to be plenty of food involved… because obviously. 😃🤤

We’ll be hiring a car and travelling around by road, before taking the high-speed train back to the capital. 🚄we then will be finishing the trip with 3 nights in the city.

And after almost a month of travelling, I think this is going to be the perfect way to finish our adventure. 🥰
