From the excitement of boarding to that first breathtaking glimpse of the falls from above, this was one of those experiences we’ll be talking about for years.

The thunder of the water. The endless landscape. The sheer scale of Allah’s creation. SubhanAllah. 🤍

But the real beauty? Sharing moments like these with women who arrived as fellow travellers and leave with memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.

Behind the scenes: A day in the life of an MWTG Group Lead! 🎬🌍

Ever wondered what it’s actually like to be a Group Lead with The Muslim Women Travel Group?

Well, come spend the day with Asiyah!

Every destination is different, every group is different, and every single one of our Group Leads brings something unique to the table.

And that’s exactly how we like it!

What do we love about Asiyah? Her absolute coolness. 😎

She’s Scottish, so you might expect a bit of that fiery Scottish temperament, but honestly, this woman is as cool as a cucumber! Nothing seems to faze her. Calm, collected, quietly confident and always ready to take things in her stride.

But behind every amazing group experience is a Group Lead working hard to make sure everything runs smoothly. From managing the unexpected to making sure nobody feels left out, there’s so much that happens behind the scenes that our travellers never see.

And when you’re exploring somewhere as extraordinary as Mongolia, no two days are ever quite the same!

Our Group Leads might all have different personalities, strengths and styles, but they share one thing in common: a genuine love of bringing women together through travel.

Lapland with MWTG is happening in January 2027 and this is one trip you really cannot leave until the last minute.

Unlike some of our other adventures, we have to close this one early. Accommodation, activities and arrangements in Lapland need to be secured well in advance, so if this has been sitting on your “I’ll book it later” list… later needs to be now.

What if your Maldives trip wasn’t just about sitting by the pool… but about finally feeling confident enough to get into the water? 🌊🐢

Our Maldives itinerary has been designed to give you the chance to build your confidence gradually, moving from the pool to the lagoon and then, when you feel ready, into the sea.

For some women, that might mean becoming more comfortable in the water. For others, it could mean finally having the confidence to snorkel, explore the reef or swim alongside turtles.

You do not need to arrive as a strong swimmer.

You just need to arrive willing to try.

And of course, there is plenty more to this trip than swimming: beautiful island surroundings, time to relax, incredible experiences, good company and the chance to enjoy the Maldives with a group of women who understand that everyone moves at their own pace.

Let’s be honest, Lapland isn’t a cheap trip. But it isn’t an ordinary holiday either. For many of us, this is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, so we’ve created an experience worth travelling for.

Seven nights in the Finnish wilderness. Husky sledding, reindeer, snowmobiles, ice fishing, snowshoeing, cosy evenings around the fire and several chances to chase the Northern Lights.
