We’ve been a bit quiet on here lately — it’s been a busy start to the tourism season! We’re currently running around 60 tours each week and it’s fantastic to see so many visitors and coaches in the city.

Just a reminder: our public tours run daily at 10am, 12 noon, 2pm, and 4pm. No booking needed, and it’s just £6 per person!

Private tours are also available on request (subject to availability).

Now all we need is for the sunshine to make a comeback!

Enjoy a walk around the city over the Easter break and learn all about our rich history
Our tours are operating as normal all over the Easter weekend at 10am, 12noon,2pm & 4pm for only £6pp.
There is no need to book our public history tours - just turn up at 1 Carlisle Road .
Our Derry Girls tour tomorrow (Saturday 19th April) is however fully booked 🤦‍♀️.

A good news story for the weekend !

Remember that lost wallet we posted about a few weeks ago? Well it is now back in Canada with its rightful owner 👏

With the help of the owner was tracked down and I’m certain that the kindness and honesty of the people of our city has left a lasting impression on her 💛

It is such a pleasure to promote our city every day of the year regardless of the weather but it is certainly much more comfortable on days like today ☀️
A lot of our big contracts have started to make an appearance again with coaches descending on Costa Del Derry
We were delighted to welcome a group of students from both Donegal and Holland on a tour of our city today 💛

That’s a wrap on another fabulous
I was delighted to meet with many existing and potential future clients and showcase our city and all we have to offer.
A jam packed 2 days but as always it was more than worth it.
It was fantastic to catch up with industry colleagues in both Tourism Ireland and Tourism Northern Ireland - well done on another successful event 👏
Excited to now dive head first into my busy season of guiding ☺️

One of our guides was handed a lost wallet today on the city walls.
We have the wallet and there is a photo ID but we are having difficulty locating the owner via social media.
Can I please ask does any city centre business / organisation/ hotel recall having a tourist looking for a lost wallet today?
Help us get this back to the rightful owner please 🙏

It was an absolute pleasure today to look after Tourism lecturers from all six FE colleges in NI North West Regional College (NWRC) Belfast Metropolitan College Northern Regional College South Eastern Regional College Southern Regional College and South West Regional College.

We embarked on a Derry Girls Experience tour of the city , stopped for some coffee and homemade scones in Java Coffee Shop and indulged in some cream horns on Pump street in true Granda Joe style.

Thanks to Luane Quigley for organising and supporting us. Such a fun day was had by all, a laugh a minute, fantastic Derry hospitality and the sun was shining ☀️
