🌊 A swimming pool by day, entertainment beneath the stars by night! ✨

Come and take a look around The Pavilion aboard Queen Anne!

This was another space that really caught my attention during my ship visit, particularly because of its retractable glass roof.

During the day, you can enjoy a swim, relax on a lounger or simply sit back and enjoy your surroundings. When the weather allows, the roof can open to let in the fresh air and sunshine. ☀️

But what I particularly loved was discovering how this space can transform in the evening!

With its large screen and entertainment facilities, The Pavilion can host film screenings, live music and other events. Imagine settling down to watch a film beneath the stars while sailing towards your next destination! 🎬

There's also a choice of places to enjoy refreshments, including a Wellness Café and a gelateria.

For me, this is another lovely example of how a holiday can bring together the things that make us feel good. A refreshing swim, some fresh air, a little time to relax and perhaps an evening film beneath the stars.

It's those experiences that help us step away from our everyday routines and make the most of being away. 💙

🌊 Now this is somewhere I could happily spend a few hours!

Welcome to the Panorama Pool Club aboard Queen Anne! 🚢

Located at the rear of the ship on Deck 9, just below the speciality dining area where you'll find Aji Wa and Sir Samuel's Steakhouse & Grill.

Remember my earlier photograph looking through the circular restaurant window towards the pool? Well, this is the area I was looking down onto!

With a swimming pool, hot tubs, comfortable loungers and beautiful views out to sea, it's a lovely place to relax and unwind. ☀️

There's also a livelier side to the Panorama Pool Club, with a bar and entertainment at selected times.

One thing I've really enjoyed discovering about Queen Anne is the variety of spaces on board. Whether you fancy a swim, some fresh air or simply sitting back and enjoying the view, there's plenty of opportunity to enjoy your holiday your way.

For me, that's what travel and wellbeing are all about. Making time for the things you enjoy! 💙

🚢 A little look at the exclusive Grills Terrace aboard Queen Anne!

During my ship visit, I had the opportunity to explore this beautiful outdoor space, reserved for guests staying in Princess Grill and Queens Grill Suites.

Located on Deck 11, the Grills Terrace offers a more private place to relax, with comfortable loungers, whirlpools and lovely views out to sea. 🌊

And remember the photograph I shared looking up through the circular glass dome from the Grills Lounge?

Well, this is the other side of it! You can see the dome from the terrace, with Queen Anne's funnel rising above.

I particularly liked how the Grills experience gives you access to dedicated spaces on board, offering that little bit of extra privacy and relaxation.

For me, getting to explore these areas firsthand is so valuable. It helps me explain what you're getting when considering the different suite options and whether the additional benefits would suit the kind of cruise you're looking for.

🍽️ Not your traditional cruise ship buffet!

Come and take a look around Artisans' Foodhall aboard Cunard's Queen Anne. 🚢

One of the things that caught my attention during my ship visit was the way the food is presented and served.

Rather than simply helping yourself to everything, you can choose from a variety of food stations, where chefs serve or prepare many of the dishes for you.

And don't worry, you can still enjoy as much or as little as you fancy!

I really like this approach. You can start with a smaller portion, see what you enjoy and always go back for more.

It's also an interesting way of thinking about sustainability. Having food served in portions offers an opportunity to be more mindful about how much we take, rather than filling a plate with food we might not finish. 🌿

There's plenty of choice too, from breakfast favourites and lighter bites to curries, roast dinners and sweet treats.

Artisans' Foodhall is included in your Cunard cruise fare, giving you a more relaxed dining option alongside the main restaurants.

For me, a holiday is about enjoying good food, trying something different and having the freedom to eat in a way that suits you.

🍽️ A little taste of life aboard Queen Anne!

Come and take a look around the beautiful Britannia Restaurant, including another glimpse of the three-course meal I enjoyed during my Cunard ship visit. 🚢

One of the things I love about cruising is that dining becomes part of the holiday experience itself.

The Britannia Restaurant brings together Cunard's traditional sense of occasion with Queen Anne's more contemporary style. It's an elegant setting where you can sit back, enjoy your meal and make the most of being on holiday.

And, of course, I couldn't visit without sampling the food for myself! 😋

For me, travel and wellbeing are about more than keeping active. They're also about taking time out, enjoying good food and appreciating experiences that we don't always make time for in everyday life.

That's certainly something I enjoyed during my visit to Queen Anne. 💙

🚢 Come and take a look around Queen Anne's Grand Lobby!

Starting beside the Drawing Room, we're taking a little look around the heart of the ship, with its sweeping staircase, beautiful interiors and striking illuminated artwork.

One of the things I love about visiting cruise ships is being able to explore these spaces for myself and give you a real feel for what it's like on board.

Queen Anne brings together Cunard's traditional elegance with a contemporary feel, and this is a lovely example of that.

✨ A modern take on Cunard elegance aboard Queen Anne!

Come and explore two beautiful spaces with me, the Chart Room and Queens Room.

🍸 The Chart Room has a sophisticated, contemporary feel. With its stylish interiors and inviting atmosphere, it's a lovely setting to sit back and enjoy a drink.

💃 Then we move into the Queens Room, a space that really caught my attention during my ship visit.

If you're familiar with Queen Mary 2, you'll know her Queens Room has a grand, traditional ballroom feel. Queen Anne offers a different interpretation, bringing a more modern design to this much-loved Cunard space.

But it's certainly not just about the dancing!

The Queens Room is a real hub of activity throughout the day, with everything from yoga, Pilates and mindfulness sessions to talks, dancing and evening entertainment.

And, of course, there's Cunard's signature Afternoon Tea, with white-gloved service, sandwiches, scones, cakes and music. ☕🍰

What I particularly liked was how Queen Anne brings together Cunard's heritage and a fresh, contemporary style, while still offering those special experiences guests associate with the brand.

Having now visited both Queen Mary 2 and Queen Anne, it's lovely to see how each ship has her own character.

🌿 My Time Monday: Good food, good company and time to enjoy it!

After yesterday's visit to Queen Anne, I'm still thinking about all the lovely experiences I had on board, including this delicious three-course meal! 🚢

When I talk about travel and wellbeing, it's not always about fitness, spa treatments or keeping active.

Sometimes it's about sitting down, enjoying a lovely meal and taking the time to appreciate the experience.

For me, wellbeing is about balance. Getting out and exploring, enjoying fresh air, trying new things and making time for the things that bring us happiness.

And yes, that absolutely includes enjoying good food! 🍽️

That's one of the things I love about holidays. They give us the opportunity to step away from our everyday routines and enjoy those little moments we might otherwise rush through.
