Every Magellan tour begins the same way: around a table. 🍷

The welcome evening is the moment the journey really starts. Riders arrive from different places, different backgrounds, and different levels of experience.

By the end of dinner, they're a group. It's one of those things that sounds simple and turns out to be rather important.

It's also where the practical groundwork gets laid, without it ever feeling like a briefing. The guide walks through the days ahead, answers questions, and makes sure everyone feels ready and confident for what's coming.

For riders joining us for the first time, it's often the moment any last nerves quietly disappear.

🌍🏍️ In today's newsletter, we head to two of the most extraordinary riding destinations on the planet.

First, Patagonia. The Carretera Austral, the Perito Moreno Glacier, Torres del Paine, and the ride to the End of the World.

So popular we run it twice a year - Southbound and Northbound, back to back in spring 2027.

Then Northern Thailand. 14 days of mountain switchbacks, frontier roads, the Golden Triangle and the legendary Road of 1,864 Curves.

As our guide Naomi puts it:

"Riding through Northern Thailand is raw and real. Dust on the boots, the smell of street food drifting through tiny towns, monks walking barefoot at sunrise. It's a must-ride for any motorcyclist."

Two tours. Two continents. Both are genuinely bucket list.

In today's newsletter, we head to Austria and Switzerland, two of Europe's greatest motorcycle destinations.

The Grossglockner. 2,500m above sea level. 36 hairpins. The highest surfaced mountain pass in Austria, and the kind of road that stays with you long after you've ridden it.

As our guide Felix puts it:

"The temperature drops, the hairpins tighten, and then you crest the top, and everything goes quiet. Every single time, someone in the group just stops and stares. I never rush that moment. The Alps will do that to you."

Alpine Altitude is 13 days and 1,960 miles of some of the finest roads in Europe. Starting from Folkestone, you'll cross five of Switzerland's greatest mountain passes, tackle the legendary Grossglockner in Austria, and finish in the Champagne region 🥂

🏍️ The Sardinia, Corsica & France Grand Tour is well underway and the roads have not disappointed.

Dramatic mountain passes, stunning villages, lakeside lunches and the legendary Route Napoleon. This is motorcycle touring at its finest. 🌄

We've put together a short clip from the road, filmed by the group themselves. This is what it actually looks like out there.

The 2026 tour is fully booked but 2027 dates are now confirmed: 24 August to 10 September.
