In June 2018, Lee from Deben Travel opened a second high street store specialising in Ocean, River and Expedition Cruises. Cruise Ready is part of the Global Travel Group, all of our package holidays are ATOL protected so your travel arrangements are in safe hands.
Our Assistant Manager Elodie has worked in the travel industry in both retail shops and in a dedicated River Cruise department. Having sailed on rivers in Europe and Asia, and travelled extensively on her own holidays, she is our resident River Cruise Specialist. Elodie’s favourite destination is America, having been to the East and West Coast. From camping in Kenya to cruising down the Mekong in her short career in travel so far has been actioned packed!
We are proud to have our first Apprentice join us in September 2019. Kyrah is new to the travel industry having joined us straight from sixth form where she was studying Travel and Tourism. Kyrah has sailed on many family cruise holidays visiting destinations such as the Norwegian Fjords, Mediterranean and the Canary Islands onboard P&O Ventura and Azura. She is a fantastic addition to our team.
Meggan's career started as an Airline Cabin Crewwith Easyjet, Ryanair and Norwegian Airlines. Her specialist destination is Norwary, having been based there whilst working for Norwegian Airlines. Meggan loves to cruise and so far has sailed with Cruise and Maritime, P&O and attended the MSC Bellissima launch in Southampton in 2019. Meggan has travelled to many European Cities as well as some long haul destinations like New York, Florida, Arizona and Mexico.
