The Brandberg Rest Camp, familiarly known as the BRC, is located in the village of UIS situated approximately 30 km from the foot of the Brandberg. Around 320 km from Windhoek and 180 km from Swakopmund en-route to the Etosha Game reserve when travelling from the coastal area

The 5 self-catering chalets can be configured into 5 double en-suite rooms adjoining 5 double rooms with a family kitchen, breakfast nook, a living room which can sleep 2 – 4 children and own bathroom facilities - Rates ( please refer to Website)

We also have a Restaurant on Site.
The restaurant provides great Namibian breakfasts from 07h00 to 09h30, light meals (hamburgers, toasted sandwiches, chips) during the day and dinners from 18h00. Early or late meals, lunch packs or other specific meal requirements can be accommodated by prior arrangement.

THE OLD PROSPECTORS PUB
The BRC has a fully serviced Pub which provides a wide selection of beverages to cater to the tastes of the travelers and guests who pass through or who come to stay and enjoy the hospitality of our oasis at the doorway to Damaraland. The Pub has darts and an L-shaped pool table for light relaxation as guests chill around the pool.
The BRC has a full sized Snooker table with spectator seating for those who want to enjoy the real thing

Coming from Windhoek on the B1, you turn left at Kalkrand on the C21 gravel road to Hoachanas. You drive +- 41km.

Directions: From the C33 coming from Karibib on your way to Omaruru you turn left into the D2315. After 10 km on the D2315 you enter a gate to the “Erongo Mountain Conservancy”. Guards will write down your car’s registration number. Please note, it is not a police roadblock! This gate only controls wildlife. No entry fee payable! After further 14 km, you get our NTB signboard ”Erongo Plateau Camp“, turn left. After 9 km you will find on your left the entrance gate of Farm Eileen. Turn left here. From here on please drive slowly the next 2km on this farm road to the campsite on your right

From Windhoek Drive to Okahandja on the B1. Shortly after Okahandja turn right onto the C31 towards Hochfeld. Then straight ahead for 67km until you get the turn onto the M59 Okanjatu . Then about 18 km until you see the sign on the left for Campsite Irene. Then another 3 km to the farm.
Road conditions are fair at the moment, sedan is accessible but not recommended especially in the rainy season.

The Amanzi Trails River Camp is approximately 700 kilometers from Cape Town, halfway between Cape Town and Windhoek, Namibia’s capital city. Our camping site is situated along the northern banks of the Orange River. This spot is only 16 kilometers downstream from the Noordoewer border post, making it a fairly easy location to reach along the N7 from Cape Town.
