Stakeholder Engagements | The National Housing Enterprise (NHE) Board and Management held consultative engagements with the Municipalities of Walvis Bay and Swakopmund on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.

Discussions at the two sessions centred around the provision of affordable housing for coastal residents, in particular, houses developed under the Informal Settlement Upgrading Project (ISUP), and devising collaborative opportunities aimed at advancing housing delivery in the Erongo Region. The NHE delegation was led by the Deputy Chairperson of the Board, Mr. Hasting Tjipueja.

The Enterprise is on the verge of launching a construction project for the development of 151 houses in Walvis Bay while the ISUP is being implemented in Swakopmund’s DRC informal settlement.
