Turns out, our busy Bees are fair weathered fellows.
When it’s wet or cold they don’t like to leave the hive.

Some late afternoon Beekeeping with Students from Pathways yesterday. Loads of nectar and gorse pollen in frames. A solid start to the season - let's cross fingers for a more consistent Summer than last year's disgrace. Onwards and upwards!

Last-minute beekeeping yesterday before sunset with Students from Pathways. Surprisingly plenty of nectar in frames for this early in the season, and loads of gorse pollen.
