Early June this year saw a collaboration with two other local business women Ivett ANZIL, running Party Perfect Catering and Joanna Captured By Friday Photography. We organised a fundraising evening for our Kapiti Coast Coastguard in conjunction with their ball.
The event was held at Anzil Restaurant on a cold wet evening with 20 participants, with one traveling from Christchurch.
I had the most wonderful helpers who volunteered their time and knowledge supporting out designers if they were unsure where to place their materials. Thank you Jay and Charlotte.
Events like this are not possible without supportive cliental.
You will see from the photos what a huge success this was, which lead to $1600.00 being raised. Huge thanks goes out to everyone who attended

A massive day in my creative space today with Jay-Lo Carey. Preparation is key as most of you will understand. We were preparing for 25 table arrangements to be created by registered clients to our fun class, plus the dinner entrance ladder (over 3 metres long) that will be laidened with fresh flowers, foliage and lights (for now it's and artifical base).
We started to prep a mock of the table pieces with a few bits and added the candle which is artifical, nice and safe for health and safety.
We made a huge dent in it today.
Jay has already created 160 individual pieces to lay on the table napkins. Only 90 to go.
I am not sure she will vouleenter with me again.

Time to start preparing for the coastguard ball and our creative fun class where attendees will create the table arrangements for the ball. Jay-Lo Carey your help today was incredible, we achieved so much. Love your energy and support. Get ready for next weekend hun, heaps more to be done

Its time be creative with volunteers and like minded people. We are creating the table pieces for our Kapiti Coast Coastguard Ball 2025. 100% of your ticket cost goes directly to our Coastguard. Read below and message me if you are interested.
Only 25 spaces, be in quick they will sell fast. Just bring your secateurs and join the fun.
Joanna from Captured By Friday Photography will capture the evening, while Ivett and her team provide the venue ANZIL along with meat and cheese platters.
The cost is $50.00, all materials are supplied. They will then be used to decorate the tables at the ball.
Venue is ANZIL restaurant on Thursday 5th June from 5.30-7.30pm

Bring a friend or two or some work colleagues, the more the merrier

Made a fun Easter wreath today from dried vines, eucalyptus, amaranthus and a birds nest I found ages ago. Seemed like the perfect day to have fun. Added a few artifical eggs and some feathers.

Special memories of a very special event a couple of weeks ago.
Remember what we do in life really does define us.
I am so pleased at the age of 14 I found my passion.
I am honoured to say I have been awarded the highest award for services to horticulture by Royal New Zealand Institute of Horticulture.
I am now an Associate of Honour (AHRIH) "Persons rendered distinguished service to horticulture".
Love to the two men in my life who are my biggest supporters Shane Parker Jared Parker Love Ya

These images of from the Advanced floral competition at Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show All off these students work and study floristry. They attend classes where they are supported by amazing tutors. It was my pleasure to be one of two judges in this category. Their brief was to design a piece for the opening of a Gallery. They had height restrictions and it was to stand on the plinth. Congratulations to all competitors, so love my role at the show
