Perched high above the Moselle River, Cochem Castle is exactly that.
Surrounded by rolling vineyards and charming half-timbered buildings, Cochem feels like stepping back in time.

One of my favorite things about Germany is how every destination feels completely different. One day you’re exploring a bustling city, and the next you’re wandering quiet cobblestone streets beneath a castle that has watched over the valley for centuries.
