As the sun peeked through the rainy weather, it created a beautiful rainbow. A promise that God would never flood the entire Earth again. PS, the Coast Guard and fire department were here at the end of the storm checking on me. Someone reported that I got hit by lighting. We had many very close lighting strikes and I was on board, but didn't get hit by lighting.

Wednesday, January 22, 2025, It's cold.
Dream Merchant is covered in snow at the Harborwalk Marina in Georgetown and we are here in West Palm Beach on our catamaran. The wind is blowing at over 20 knots with a drizzling rain making it cold here also. We are enjoying a relaxing day staying inside. Laura is watching a movie and I've spent time watching Pastor Rodney's winter camp meeting at the River Church in Tampa. It will be warm again next week. I hope everyone has enjoyed the snow today.

We are back in the water today arriving at Vero Beach at lunchtime tomorrow. New bottom paint, one new propeller shaft and bearings on both. This took all the vibration away that we had when the motors were running. We will be back in Georgetown in the early spring to take you sailing.

We are out of the water to discover the vibration from the starboard engine was because the shaft was bent which also wore out the bearings. Well it's all getting fixed. I'm very thankful for the great help we are getting. The bottom is getting sanded down to get it ready for paint. I'm also thankful my wife Laura is being a champian on this entire trip through the ocean and on having the boat taken care of.

No wind today also means a very relaxing ride with no waves. We have an appointment to do our haul out so we need to get to Cape Canaveral in the morning..
The wind will be up by midnight so we should be able to sail and turn off the engine.
