Great hike with Hershey Pup and Lil’ Rascal on the trails of Redden State Forest in Georgetown, DE! 🐶🐾🐶🐾

Along with always enjoying our nature walks there, its history has always been interesting, including the 1903 hunting lodge built by an heir to the Pennsylvania Railroad for railroad executives and their guests, and members of the Redden Quail Club. It even had its own Pennsylvania Railroad rail siding letting guest travel from Philadelphia directly to the lodge. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The pups always love their treks through Redden State Forest!

Hershey Pup was invited back to Benjamin Banneker Elementary School in Milford, DE to visit the 1st graders again!!

He had a fantastic time visiting nine 1st grade classes and having the students read to him. 📖 A few kids remembered him from last year, too!

Hershey Pup was so good with the kids. And he was in “belly rub heaven” all morning! 😂 🐶🐾🐾❤️

Our lil’ Rascal turned 1 year old today!! 🎉🎂🐶🐾

One little project completed! ✅

Jeanne and I are excitedly preparing for two events coming up in October featuring Hershey Pup and our Hershey Pup Adventures children’s book! 📚 📖 🐶

Hershey Pup has been invited back to the Benjamin Banneker Elementary School for their annual 1st grade reading program! We and Hershey will again be visiting 9 first grade classes during their special reading times. 📚🐶

We will also be participating in a “Meet The Authors & Hershey Pup” event at Yarn & Bone Pet Supply in Milford, DE!

Hershey Pup will be greeting his fans, welcoming belly-rubs, and personally “pawtographing” copies of his kids’ book for them. 📚 🐾🐾 🐶

So, we needed to make up some new T-shirts for the events. 👕 👚 We love how they came out! 👍
