Good fishing today. We had good action with everything we targeted except for Cobia. Had my local buddy’s today from reds automotive and they have some fish to eat. This is another picture with some brothers in recovery from last weekend. I fished on the release the first 2 days of HVOO and we had some success as well. I believe dad and his crew crew took 3rd place in the release category so way to go big Rom.

It’s been a windy April but great fishing. I have been split between captaining the Release and my boat. It’s keeping me really busy and I’m learning new things everyday. Spring fishing has been great in Hatteras. I fished on my boat one day last week and caught some monster sheepshead. The citation drum fishing has also been world class. I have also been running the Release, we had two days of good blackfin tuna fishing. Caught a couple mahi and also had a nice blue marlin on for a while yesterday that put on a show. Unfortunately he came off jumping pretty close to being a release. I have dates available for offshore and inshore fishing so don’t hesitate to reach out. 252-305-5229

Well Erin has came and gone. Overall we faired pretty well. The troubled beach areas Buxton, Rodanthe an the Hatteras Stretch did not fair so well. It could always be worse so we are thankful for that. Leading up to the storm I had some pretty great Red Drum fishing. Everyone is ready to get back to work and I hear the road is opening very soon. Last week was pretty solid fishing aboard the Sound Bound. I had some really great customers come to town and we spent a good bit of our days back in the sound.
