Last fall, EcoTour Adventures founder Taylor Phillips () testified at a congressional field hearing at Jenny Lake about the importance of investing in America's public lands. Now, ahead of the US's 250th birthday, bipartisan lawmakers are introducing the Great American Outdoors Act 250, legislation that would build on those investments and help ensure places like Grand Teton and Yellowstone remain accessible, resilient, and inspiring for future generations. A family of badgers! Seeing even one badger in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem is quite rare—let alone THREE! We can’t get enough of their bouncy little butts as they trot down the road.

Female badgers can give birth to up to five cubs (yes, we call the babies cubs, just like bears!) in one litter. Looks like these two cubs are quite healthy!

An incredible sighting last week from ETA Naturalists : “Bumped into magic on the trail! A grizzly mom swimming in the lake with her cubs — 2 of the 3 hitching a ride on her back.

We stood there barely breathing, just us & this beautiful bear family sharing space. An unexpected gift from the wild.

Filmed from a safe distance with a telephoto lens.”

Newborn moose calf twins! Nursing from mom! Does it get any cuter?!

In the 1960s in Jackson Hole, cow moose gave birth to twins at a rate of about 10%. Today, however, that number has dropped to between 2-5%, largely due to a decline in suitable habitat due to the changing climate. Getting to see these twins was truly a rare sighting!
