Tours are suitable for beginners, enthusiasts and experts alike, with the scenery explained in an accessible way. Geotourism is more than just the rocks
and ice, it is about experiencing the whole geodiversity
of a destination, which includes its biology and history
too. Spectacular scenery normally goes hand in hand with
incredible wildlife and fascinating human stories and our trips
combine

all of these things. Travel with GeoWorld and gain something extra: All our trips are
guided by an experienced Geologist. On one of our trips you will see
the wildlife and historical sites that you may expect to see on other
trips, but in addition you will have the geology and scenary explained
to you. GeoWorld’s trips are currently run in the Polar regions and
Wales, but will soon be expanding to offer trips to other destinations
such as the Pyrenees, Canadian Rockies, Galapagos, Iceland and East Africa.

This time last week, we came to the end of our epic road trip around England & Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Over the course of 13 days, we visited sites with rocks from (almost!) all of the geological time periods! It's a great reminder of what a wonderfully geodiverse place we live in. Our guests were treated to fossils on the Jurassic Coast, granite tors on Dartmoor, caves in Somerset, mines in south Wales, mountains in north Wales and the history of geology in Shropshire!
