Moab has created a festive tree to celebrate the holidays.

Moab introduces a new holiday tradition with a solar-powered festive tree in the desert, celebrating winter under the stars. The tree glows from December to January.

The National Parks are open. With the government shut down also you do not need a reservation so great time to come and visit. Weather is great!

Make sure you get a timed entry reservation if you plan to go to Arches this weekend.
Reservation Hack - If you don't have a reservation, we recommend getting up early and arriving at the park before 8:00 am. No crowds, perfect temperatures, and fantastic light - it really is the best time to be in Arches.

Tomorow is the day! Another Timed Entry pilot program begins August 28 and runs through October 31, 2025. During this time, you’ll need a Timed Entry Ticket to enter the park between 7 am and 4 pm daily.

You can book advance tickets now for visits through October. Starting tonight, additional batches of next-day tickets will drop at 7 pm nightly.
