Built to last—even through the unexpected. This Kerrville Sheriff’s Department vehicle was swept half a mile by floodwaters and buried in debris. While the unit was totaled, the bumper held strong. We were glad to donate our time to the department and remove the bumper to be installed on a new vehicle.

What You'll Be Doing
Meet STO’s high standards—install truck accessories like bumpers, lights, goosenecks, 12‑V wiring, suspension, toolboxes, and more.

Uphold safety and craftsmanship on every job.

Adapt quickly to changing priorities and project demands.

Communicate clearly and support your teammates.

What You Bring
Your own tools and equipment.

Genuine self-motivation—ready to work and improve every day.

The ability to lift 50+ pounds, with good vision and hearing (corrected is fine).

Punctuality, strong communication, and collaborative instincts.

Automotive experience is a plus—but we train motivated rookies who take pride in their work.

What You Get
Weekends off, plus holidays and vacation time.

Health insurance, retirement benefits, and uniforms. A stable 40‑hour minimum workweek—STO has never laid off an employee over 20+ years. A fun, fast‑paced environment working with great teammates on cool, custom projects.

Physical & Work Environment
Expect stooping, kneeling, lifting, reaching, and balancing. This role is hands-on and physically challenging—so being in good shape and safety-conscious is key.
