On Monday, we hired a guide to take us to the Teotihuacán pyramids. These pyramids are roughly 2000 years old, and 70,000 people lived in this city at its peak. Imagine how vibrant it must have been. One of the cool things about hiring a guide is that they take you to places you would never find on your own. We started at an area a bit removed from the main city, a residential area covered and reasonably well preserved. The cool thing is that we were literally the only ones there, and we could explore for as long as we wanted. It definitely got busy on the Walk of the Dead as we were leaving, so it was incredible to get to experience it on our own!
