Reminder that European Union's EES system has now been implemented for border entry.

I just went through this in Amsterdam and it was pretty painless. Scan passport, scan fingerprints, photo recognition. My flight transfer immigration time was pretty efficient. However, I did see that the standard entry immigration (not transferring flights) starting in the country) had longer lines than usual. This is likely due to everyone getting used to the system.

This is a good reminder!

My tips: 📱
--Don't place your phone on the table at a restaurant (especially outside)
--Keep your phone in a secure spot (pockets should have buttons at minimum)
--Don't lay your phone on a counter while digging through your purse.
