It’s berry season in Southeast Alaska. Gloria picked red huckle berries. I was glad to create a fresh berry compote to serve atop my Mason jar cheesecakes. The color of that straight huckle berry compote is striking and the tartness paired nicely with the rich creamy cheesecake.
