Internship success story

Walter started out like many of our Bikes 'n Wines interns - someone who loved being outdoors and on a bike.

Today, he’s guiding guests through Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, sharing the routes, the stories, and the wines that make this place special.

“I’ve always enjoyed being outdoors and working with people. Now I get to guide guests, share history and wine stories, and create a great experience for them along the way.”

Over the past few years our small team has built something pretty special in the Western Cape.
Between Bikes 'n Wines, iRide Africa, and hiking, kayaking and cultural experiences, we now run thousands of guests through our tours each year — with a team of guides, mechanics, and operational staff.
Now we're looking for someone new to help lead the operation.

This is not a desk job.

It's a role for someone who:
• understands cycling, hiking and outdoor adventure tourism logistics
• can confidently lead guides and field teams
• solves problems calmly when things go sideways
• enjoys the pace of adventure tourism

You'll be working with:
🚴 cycling tours
🍷 wine experiences
🥾 hiking and kayaking tours
🌍 local and international guests
👥 a diverse guide team

And you'll help keep the engine of the business running.
