LEVEL 3 :
On 28 May 2020, the Minister published the amendment to the regulations. In terms of the amendments, the country is currently at Alert Level 3.
Airlines and bus operators are required to operate in terms of these regulations with effect from 1 June 2020 and consequently, only the following categories of persons are allowed to undertake interprovincial travel,
1. Persons undertaking work responsibilities or performing a service permitted under Alert Level 3 provided that they are in possession of the requisite permit,
2. Persons moving to a new place of residence,
3. Persons caring for an immediate family member,
4. Learners or students who have to commute to and from those schools or institutions of higher learning during periods when those schools or institutions are permitted to operate,
5. Attendance of funerals,
6. Transportation of mortal remains,
7. Obtaining medical treatment,
8. Persons returning to their place of residence from a quarantine or isolation facility,
9. Movement of children,
10. Members of Parliament performing oversight responsibilities.

Along with your ID, you will need the following forms which can be found listed in the link above:
• Carrying out work responsibilities or performing any service permitted under alert Level 3, where a permit has been issued: Form 2
• Moving to a new place of residence: Form 6
• Moving to care for an immediate family member: Form 6
• Learners commuting to attend schools or institutions of higher learning: Form 3A or 3B as applicable
• Attendance of funerals, and transportation of mortal remains: Form 4 or 5 as applicable
