Mike and Patty concluded their time in South Africa over the weekend with a variety of enriching experiences. On Friday, they embarked on the amazing Classic Cradle Tour which they thoroughly enjoyed, we ended the day included shopping and a visit to the Constitutional Court. Saturday, they enjoyed a wonderful morning on the Heritage Tour at Gold Reef City, followed by insightful visits to the Apartheid Museum and Soweto, deepening their understanding of South Africa's diverse heritage.

On Wednesday, Lucille met Mike and Patty from California at the airport. They made their way to the Da Vinci Hotel in Sandton and stopped at the Nelson Mandela Centre of Memory along the way.

Thursday, they visited the Cullinan Diamond Mine for a surface tour and enjoyed pancakes at Harrie's Pancakes in Cullinan. After that, they explored the Union Buildings and took a drive through the city of Pretoria before ending their day at the Voortrekker Monument.

Yesterday they went on the Classic Cradle Tour, done a little shopping and visited the Constitutional Court. Today, they planned to visit Gold Reef City, the Apartheid Museum, and Soweto.

Last week, Lucille hosted three colleagues from Switzerland to an unforgettable adventure that included an exhilarating elephant experience and a thrilling mini safari. As they explored the lush landscapes, the group encountered majestic elephants up close, creating cherished memories that would last a lifetime. The day was filled with vibrant sights and sounds of the wild, offering a perfect blend of excitement and awe in nature.

Last Wednesday, Lucille organized an enriching day for a group of friends visiting from the States. The itinerary kicked off at Constitutional Hill, where they explored the historical significance of the site. Next, they headed to the Apartheid Museum to gain deeper insights into South Africa's history. A brief photo opportunity at Soccer City followed, before making their way to Soweto. There, they visited the Arise and Shine daycare center, where Garry thoughtfully distributed bracelets to the children. The group then moved on to the Mandela Family Home and the Hector Pieterson Memorial, before concluding their day at Regina Mundi Catholic Church, reflecting on the important stories and experiences shared throughout the journey.

Saturday and Monday, Lucille had the pleasure of hosting a delightful lady from the USA, and both enjoyed many hours of conversation! Saturday we covered the political history of Johannesburg. On Monday, despite the chilly weather, Lucille whisked her away to the vibrant Lesedi Village, where adventure and cultural wonders awaited around every village. It was an unforgettable few days of fantastic conversations and time spent together!

Today, Lucille had the pleasure of guiding a wonderful couple from San Francisco to the Sterkfontein Caves and the Apartheid Museum. It was fantastic to see the caves open to visitors once again, allowing everyone to explore and appreciate their natural beauty.

On Sunday, Lucille enjoyed a beautiful day at the lovely Walter Sisulu National Botanical Gardens with a wonderful couple – Kelsie and Brit from the United States who were celebrating their honeymoon. It was just the perfect day to be outdoors and start their 14-day trip of South Africa!

Saturday, we had the pleasure of hosting Debb, her sister Terry, and their friends Allan and Clarise and it turned out to be a memorable day filled with cultural exploration. Our first stop was the Origins Centre, where we delved into the fascinating history of humankind.After that, we made our way to the Apartheid Museum. The powerful exhibits there provided a poignant insight into South Africa's history of racial segregation and the struggle for equality.Finally, we ventured into Soweto, a vibrant township rich in history and culture. We explored the lively streets, taking in the local art and cuisine. The energy of the community was infectious, and it was a fitting way to end our day of reflection and discovery. Overall, it was an enriching experience that brought us closer together and deepened our understanding of South Africa's complex past.

Yesterday , Lucille was thrilled to take two ladies from the USA on an unforgettable adventure at Ukutula, where they’ll got to experience the majestic lions up close! What an exhilarating and unforgettable birthday Celeste experienced! Happy birthday, Celeste.

Last Wednesday, Lucille hosted Susan, who had travelled from Houston for an educational tour of Pretoria. Their journey included visits to key attractions like the Voortrekker Monument, Kruger House, and the Union Buildings. They also enjoyed a delightful lunch at Harries Pancakes, where Susan had the chance to taste the uniquely South African Bobotie Pancake.

The following day, Susan embraced the local culture by supporting artisans and artists at Victoria Yard. Thereafter, they headed to Soweto for lunch and concluded their day with a visit to the Apartheid Museum.
