Protecting Sharks Starts with Education
Kim "Sharklady" Maclean, pioneer of the shark cage diving industry, has spent decades not only working with sharks but also educating future generations about the importance of protecting our oceans.
Here, Kim is showing school children the devastating impact that discarded fishing line can have on sharks and other marine animals. What looks like a simple piece of line can entangle wildlife, cause serious injuries and remain in the marine environment for years.
