itravel Naracoorte is an award-winning boutique Travel Agency located in Naracoorte. We are looking for a passionate and motivated Travel Consultant to join our team!

If you have a passion for travel and enjoy working with people, this could be the perfect role for you.

About the role:
Book domestic & international travel including flights, cruises, tours, accommodation & travel insurance.
Creating detailed itineraries, finalising clients documents, support our staff.
Providing outstanding customer service and building relationships and rapport with our clients.
Assisting with social media content & marketing.
Supporting in-store promotions and events.

What we are looking for:
While previous Travel Industry experience is preferred we are open to someone with less experience who brings the right attitude, customer focus and willingness to learn.
Strong communication, organisational and attention to detail skills required.
The ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
A creative mindset and passion for travel.

As a member of ATIA - Australian Travel Industry Association we're calling on the Australian government to change the travel advisory for Middle Eastern Airports from Level 4 "Do not travel" to Level 3 "Reconsider your need to travel".
At the current Level 4, Australians have significantly less rights with their travel insurance whilst transiting through airports in the Middle East. Downgrading the advisory level makes sense given an airside transit of a couple of hours carries a fundamentally different risk to a holiday in-country.
It's time for Australia to follow countries including the UK, Germany and France by aligning our advisory to Level 3, allowing Australians to transit through Middle Eastern airports to Europe, India and Africa with confidence.
