You know when every mouthful has you shaking your head in disbelief and wishing the meal won’t end while wolfing it down? The lamb kofta at was truly one the most delicious things I’ve eaten in a while. Wow. Who wants to see them on a food tour?? 👀

If you know Eat A Pitta’s falafel, you’ll understand why it’s a Bristol institution and an essential stop on our food tour. This truly is as good as falafel gets!

We sat down with co-owner Audrone to hear their story, their vision and what makes their falafel so special!

Learning that Dan spent his early career as a professional chef in Michelin Starred London restaurants made so much sense! That’s how they pack to much incredible flavour into their salads, sauces and falafel. This stuff is the real deal.

I also chatted with Audrone about how tough times are in the industry right now. She stressed just how much ever single customer means to them! And wanted to stress her heartfelt thanks to their customers. But of course the microphone failed on that beautiful bit of content 😅

is my local cafe. I’ve always loved the coffee here but stopped coming for food for a long while as it was slim pickings on the gluten free front. But these days there are plenty of amazing options! Regularly changing with new dishes. And they are seriously delicious.

Today I had buckwheat pancakes with confit tomatoes, vegan feta, pesto, fennel and other goodies. The other week it was a polenta and mushroom extravaganza. Excellent space, lovely staff, and the baked goods look to die for. Try them for me please!

So wonderful to be back out on our wine and cheese adventures last week! Our first one of the year. Here are some highlights from the always magical
Our wine and cheese tour runs the first Friday of the month May to October and they are booking up fast!

I am a genuine lover and regular customer of all the venues on our city tour. I really believe in the places I take people!

Choosing a stop for a tour is not always easy. There are a lot of logistics. For the city tour…

Can they fit 10 people on a Saturday afternoon?
Are they open at the right time?
Do they work on the tour route?
Can we agree on the right price and serving?
And most importantly, do they fit my criteria of being an independent, locally supplied business doing exceptionally good food and drink?

There are so many incredible places in the centre I’d love to include, but the seven we feature are all places I’m very proud to promote.

And I can hardly ever manage a trip into the centre without a smoothie from . Blueberry Basil is absolutely top 3 💙

I'm looking for someone who can assist with ad hoc tasks on a casual basis. I can offer £15/hour, up to 4 hours a week. This could be an ongoing role, or you could offer your services on a project basis.

Tasks include:
- Designing beautiful assets on Abode Illustrator or similar (branding already in place - see attached image!)
- Upkeep and editing on Wix site
- Newsletter and socials assistance
- Database, outreach and email assistance
