Was up with my good friend Joe today at Raphoe Indoor Market and picked up some cool RUC explosive Boxes, an old camera and a Falkland Islands commerative piece which I forgot to ask Joe about. It looks like it would have been worn or saddled on a horse. He also has one of 3 original ligographs from the 1800s of the very famous painting of 'The Relief of Derry 1689' that is housed in the Tower Museum Derry. Would love to get my hands on this ligograph Joe has. Very rare!
But folks, was very sad to hear that the shop is closing down tomorrow 😥 This place was a treasure cove for vintage and antique items of all sorts. I just loved calling down having history shown to me by Joe and with his extensive knowledge, you were always guaranteed a very interesting history lesson from Joe. Tomorrow will be their very last day Open folks so if anyone wants to call down before they close for good, nows your last chance and you never know what you'll pick up or find. Wishing Joe, Hugh and Shiela all the best for the future 💚🤍🧡
Gonna miss the shop alot 😢
