🇮🇹✨ Why Italy is Perfect for Families. We visited these places over 2 weeks, it was more memorable by trains between Milan and Cinque Terre, Florence, Lake Garda and Venice :

From the sparkling shores of Lake Garda to the colourful cliffs of Cinque Terre, and the timeless streets of Florence, Milan, and Venice, Italy is a dream destination for families looking to mix fun, culture, and unforgettable memories.

🏞 Lake Garda – Think lakeside gelato, boat rides, bike paths, and family-friendly resorts. Plus, Gardaland theme park is a huge hit with kids!

🌈 Cinque Terre – Bright, postcard-perfect villages perched along the coast. Easy train links between towns make it simple (and fun) to explore, with beaches, short hikes, and plenty of gelato stops along the way.

🎨 Florence – A living museum where history comes alive. Wide piazzas, street performers, and the chance to see real masterpieces make it surprisingly engaging for little ones.

🛍 Milan – Stylish yet accessible, with parks, football culture, and plenty of pizza breaks to keep everyone happy. Great for a mix of modern city life and family downtime.

🚤 Venice – A magical maze of canals where getting lost is part of the fun. Vaporetto rides feel like an adventure, and every corner looks like a storybook.

Looking for a relaxed, safe, and beautiful island getaway? Gili Trawangan offers calm beaches, clear waters, and a car-free environment—ideal for families with children (we went mid December)

🚲 No cars or motorbikes (only ebikes) means peaceful walks and bike rides around the island.

🐢 Shallow waters and easy snorkeling make it fun and safe for kids. We saw turtles within 10 feet of the beach!

🌅 Stunning sunsets, friendly locals, and family-friendly resorts ensure everyone feels at home.

🚤 Easy access from Bali and Lombok, yet far from the crowds.

🏧 Affordable, we ate at some pretty decent seafood/Italian restaurants and for a family of four it's around 30-40 USD.

After a pleasant stay in Ko Lipe Thailand with family and friends, we wanted to share some snaps of the beach and sea. Tranquil and family friendly, it's an ideal place for ALL travellers. The island had a great mix of backpackers and older folks and is easy to access from Langkawi Malaysia, (hour boat ride). The weirdest part was - passport control have a hut on the beach to check you in. Grab a coconut while you are waiting?!

Feel free to recommend any Thai islands below that are worth visiting!
