Clime-it Brothers LTD also offer a range of workshops, that use exciting contemporary approaches to deal with numerous social concerns in today's society. Through the use of applied theatre and creative writing the company have found a unique and tested way in dealing with issues such as youth unemployment, bullying, anti-social behavior and lowering the risk of re-offending in participants. The facilitators of these workshops use their background knowledge and share personal experiences of their own journeys of overcoming social boundaries such as gangs, violence and drugs. This rapport between the facilitators and the participants is crucial as it eliminates any disconnection as both parties have had similar experiences of misfortune. Using creative writing as a tool, these workshops examine issues such as crime, violence and drugs. This process of participants using their deep inner thoughts to express their emotions allows each member to have a conscious, personal connection about the social issues in question. This creative way of exploring such social problems allows participants to perceive social issues in a different light which in turn opens the possibilities of change and hopefully distances them from a life of crime.
