It's the year 1900, blast furnaces are glowing red hot, pit wheels are lowering weary workers down into the mine, the Shropshire canal is heaving with barges and at the end of the day all you can think about is fish & chips cooked in beef dripping for tea. This is Blists Hill Victorian Town, where you exchange pounds for shillings on arrival and there's not a card machine in sight!
