RIVA Project R.I.V.A Project Recreational, Imaginative, Vocational Activities. Hello, we're RIVA (Recreational Imaginative Vocational Activities).

Committed to providing better life chances for people with disabilities based in S6 Wisewood
https://www.rivaproject.co.uk/ Formed in 1998 as a 'youth club' style provision for young adults living with disabilities. Now RIVA encompasses a training room teaching independent living skills, a range of arts and crafts and lots of other fun activities, as well as visiting the local gym, cycling 4 all and other external trips for adults with learning disabilities. Students can also gain retail, customer service and social experience in our sister charity The Riva cafe and charity shop. Our opening times are 9am-3pm Monday till Friday for 50-week contracts at a time. If you are interested please contact [email protected] or call us on 0114 3270808 to arrange a visit.

Clients made their own perspective drawings based on the work of Grandma Moses, an American artist who worked in a primitive style. She started painting age 76 and lived to 101, painting scenes from her rural childhood in Greenwich, New York. They all worked really hard to follow a tutorial to make their perspective drawings accurate, but also to enjoy the process and go with the flow! The results speak for themselves 💕
