After a two-year closure and plenty of hard work behind the scenes, the Blue Pools Track has reopened — complete with new bridges and a fresh boardwalk, meaning we’re back to visiting that unmistakable glacier-blue water that gives this place its name.

Tucked between Wānaka and the West Coast, it’s a favourite stop on LSQ’s West Coast journeys — a short, peaceful walk through native forest that captures the beauty of the South Island perfectly.
