At the top, the ruins of Lanckorona Castle watch over the village, reminding visitors of its medieval roots.
But what truly makes this place special is its atmosphere — slow, artistic, and deeply authentic. It’s a favorite escape for creatives, dreamers, and anyone looking to pause.

PROS:
-The view wins! 🏞️The place is litterarly the highest in Lankorona, by the side of a beautiful forest, you'll spend most of your time on the balcony, so picturesque 🖼️, pleasant and perfect for stargazing.
-The wooden interiors are so cute and homie, scandinavian style if not mistaken, you will fall in love, you even smell the beautiful aroma of timber 🪵.
-The house itself is 100 years old so your sleep-in is litterarly a cultural experience.
-hiking trail just at your doorstep leading to a 14th century castle ruins with an interesting story.
CONS:
-The place has 3 rooms, close to each other, with a shared kitchen/bathroom/living room/balcony, and creaky wood flooring so this might be annoying to some.
-The hosting service is kind-of amateur, host welcomed us normally but during all our stay never checked on us like other hosts do, we didnt even see her at the check-out.
-bathroom issues: the towels were too small and smelled of mold 🫤 (i advise you to bring your own), shower mount was loose, water pressure low but i guess it's no bid deal considering the age of the building.
-Price might be a bit exaggerated to some (300 ZL) considering that you're sharing the whole floor with others, you might find similar prices in Zakopane but more private, but again maybe you're paying more for the historical value of the place.
