Summer’s sweetest dilemma? 💙🍓

A warm, buttery bun with blueberries — the unmistakable taste of high summer? Or perhaps a soft strawberry bun, carrying the last delicious notes of late spring?

Both crowned with a generous layer of crisp, golden crumble. Both impossible to resist.

Some choices simply don’t need a winner. They just deserve another cup of coffee and a slow afternoon.

If you’re looking for more seasonal flavours to discover in Warsaw this summer, I’ve gathered my favourite edible inspirations in my latest article for Go2Warsaw. You’ll find the link in my bio. ✨

What would you choose today — 🫐 blueberries or 🍓 strawberries?

Wrapping up an inspiring seminar for teachers and educators. I’m leaving with nearly 40 pages of notes, a full-page reading list, and one tiny piece of emergency origami folded during the lectures. 📚✏️🪽
Most importantly, I’m taking home a deeper understanding of what matters to teachers today and plenty of ideas to bring into my own workshops, guided tours, and educational projects.
The best kind of professional development is the one that reminds you there’s always something new to learn.
A heartfelt thank you to The Jewish Foundation for the Righteous for the invitation, and to POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews for nominating me for this wonderful opportunity.

✨ A cheesecake crowned with edible gold felt like the perfect opening note for Helena Rubinstein. Beauty Is Your Destiny at POLIN Museum.
In mid-June, guests at the exhibition opening were welcomed with this elegant treat — a small reminder of the world created by the woman everyone simply called Madame. A pioneer of modern beauty culture, Helena Rubinstein understood long before social media that beauty is not just a product. It's a story, an aspiration and a way of seeing yourself.
The exhibition is intentionally intimate rather than grand. It presents a carefully selected collection of objects, photographs, cosmetics and archival materials that trace Rubinstein's remarkable journey from Kraków to the global stage. What makes it especially exciting, however, is the rich accompanying programme of talks, workshops and conversations about beauty, identity, entrepreneurship, art and culture.

I am delighted to be part of this programme. This summer, I will be leading a series of olfactory workshops exploring the fragrances, botanical ingredients and beauty traditions that Madame Rubinstein so often referenced in her marketing campaigns. Together, we'll discover how scent shapes memory, emotion and our understanding of beauty.

Because beauty is never only about what we see. Sometimes it begins with what we smell (and with what we eat). ✨🌿

June and July have their own bouquet in Warsaw. The kind you admire, the kind you breathe in — and the kind you can eat. 🌹✨

In my latest article for „Warsaw Stories”, I invite you on a stroll through the seasonal flavors of the city. It is a story about pansies, nasturtiums and rose petals — flowers that have found their way not only into vases, but onto plates for centuries. 🌸🍃

👉 Summer in Warsaw is about much more than beautiful views. Slow down for a moment, visit a market, wander through a garden or simply step onto a balcony, and you will discover that the city can be experienced through scent and taste as much as through sight.

📖 link in comments. Join me in celebrating the most beautiful weeks of Warsaw’s culinary calendar — one flower, one fragrance and one bite at a time.

In May, Warsaw’s Aleje Ujazdowskie usually carries the delicate scent of linden blossom and lilac. 🌿🌸 This weekend, however, an entirely different fragrance drifted through the air around the Gawroński Villa — warm wicker, sun-dried straw, and the unmistakable aroma of craftsmanship that practically invites you to reach out and touch it. ✨🧺 All thanks to Craft Days organised by .foundation and open til the end of May.

I have to admit: I’ve always had a weakness for woven forms. My home is filled with baskets, wicker cabinets, armchairs, and an ever-growing collection of tiny houses and loungers for my cats 🐈🤍. There is something deeply comforting about them. They smell of summers spent beyond the city, old verandas warmed by the sun, and the kind of quiet you wish you could hold onto a little longer.

Perhaps that is why the contemporary craftsmanship showcased during Craft Days felt so captivating — strikingly modern, yet profoundly rooted in tradition. On a warm May afternoon, surrounded by visitors and the soft golden light of late spring, I found myself simply enjoying the scent of the weaving workshop. ☀️🌾

PS Since last year, Polish wicker weaving has officially been included on UNESCO’s list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity — and honestly, it’s impossible not to understand why. 🌍✨

Chestnut blossom season has arrived in Warsaw 🌸🌿

The city is glowing with clouds of white and pink flowers, every street suddenly softer, brighter, almost cinematic. And at the very same moment, thousands of high school students are sitting their final exams — the famous Polish *matura* season has begun. 📚✨

Honestly… how are you supposed to study when spring looks like this? When every park invites you for “just one quick walk,” and the scent of blooming chestnut trees drifts through the city? ☀️

Warsaw in May is pure temptation — for dreamers, walkers, photographers… and probably a little nightmare for students trying to focus. 💭🌸

A visit to the market and the first tastes of autumn 🍂
Pumpkin season is just around the corner 🎃

Hala Mirowska—where markets have been held since at least the mid-19th century—is my favorite place to watch the seasons change.
