🎨 Local Artist Spotlight Week: the grand finale! 🎨

We’re closing out the week by heading a little north to celebrate artist, musician and author Max Patzner of Minot! 🎶✨

Born and raised in North Dakota, Max studied art in Minot and makes whimsical illustrations, gig posters and paintings. 🖌️ Now he’s chasing a longtime dream by putting all his art and music talents into his very own kids’ books, which he writes, illustrates and creates the music for! 📚🎵 You may also know him for his colorful and interactive murals across the state and some of his work that he's done with the .

🎨 Local Artist Spotlight Week keeps going! 🎨

Today we’re celebrating a mother-daughter duo making beautiful art across North Dakota: Rachel Jungling and Laurie Crummy! 💕✨

Rachel ( ) is a Bismarck-Mandan native who creates original prints and is the founder of Letter the Lawn. 🖼️

Her mom, Laurie () is a botanical artist based in Grand Forks whose detailed watercolors capture native prairie plants, regional crops and all kinds of flora. 🌾🌸

🎨 Local Artist Spotlight Week rolls on! 🎨

We’re loving the chance to show off the amazing local makers we partner with and today it’s all about Shelly Sayler of Nodakian Studios ! ✨

Nodakian Studios creates high-fired ceramics and every piece is thrown on the wheel, then hand-decorated or altered, so no two are quite the same. 🏺 Her work ranges from three-legged mugs and bowls to sgraffito crocks and canisters, plus a whole lineup of colorful hanging planters. 🪴

Even better? Everything is dishwasher, microwave and food safe, so these beauties are made to be used and loved every day. ☕

🎨 Local Artist Spotlight Week continues! 🎨

All week long we’re shining a light on the incredibly talented local artists who we get to work with and today we’re featuring Nicole Gagner, aka ! ✨

Nicole is a visual artist inspired by texture, saturated color, unique plays of light and form, and (perhaps most importantly) her grandmother’s pickles. 🥒💚 She works primarily in oil paint and you might recognize her “Grandmother’s Pickles” in Bismarck’s Art Alley 5.5!

🎨 Local Artist Spotlight Week! 🎨

All week long we’re shining a light on the incredibly talented local artists we get to work with and we’re kicking things off with our newest collaborator, .munns.studio ! ✨

Sydney is a self-taught artist who was born and raised right here in Bismarck-Mandan. 💛 Her work in our shop includes prints plus one-of-a-kind lino cut prints finished with hand-painted details and backgrounds, so no two are exactly alike.
