A week in Vegas…but probably not the kind you’re imagining 😉 I just wrapped up an incredible week at Virtuoso Travel Week, one of the world’s premier gatherings for luxury travel. Virtuoso is a global network of the best hotels, resorts, cruise lines, tour operators, and destination partners around the world—and being part of this community gives me access to relationships, resources, and experiences that directly benefit my clients. My days were packed with back-to-back meetings, events, conversations, property updates, destination deep dives, and time spent connecting face-to-face with the partners who help bring my clients’ trips to life. Because great travel planning goes far beyond choosing a beautiful hotel or putting together an itinerary.

It’s knowing who to call when my clients need something. It’s having relationships with the people on the ground who can help me create special experiences, add those little extra touches, and support my travelers while they’re away. It’s learning about new hotels before they open, discovering experiences I may not find online, and continually expanding my knowledge so I can give my clients the very best recommendations.

Every meeting I take, every relationship I build, and every bit of knowledge I bring home helps me become a better advisor and provide an even higher level of service to my clients.

And beyond all of the meetings and events, one of the absolute best parts of the week was getting to spend time with my Brownell community. I am beyond thankful to be surrounded by such an incredible, supportive group of people who genuinely want to see one another learn, grow, and succeed. There is something so special about being part of a community that shares knowledge, celebrates each other’s wins, and is always willing to lend support. I’m incredibly grateful to call Brownell home 🤍❤️ I’m home inspired, grateful, full of new ideas, and even more excited about what I can create for my clients next.

Originally from California’s beautiful Central Coast wine country, Alison brings over 15 years of experience in wine, hospitality, and travel; industries built on connection, storytelling, and unforgettable experiences.

Her passion has always been creating meaningful moments for others, whether through a thoughtfully curated wine experience, exceptional hospitality, or now, designing incredible travel experiences. She believes the most memorable journeys are rooted in the places, people, and stories that make them special.

After relocating to Georgia in 2023, Alison has loved exploring the East Coast while continuing to build strong partnerships and expand her industry knowledge.

Greece 🇬🇷

Where do I even start? The beauty, the food, the culture, the people… there’s truly nothing I didn’t love about Greece…especially the feta cheese 😂

Athens → Paros → Santorini → Crete

Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be sharing more in-depth recaps of each island, the hotels, experiences, and all of the little details that made each destination so special.
