Happy Hooker Charters Decades of experience, well-equipped boats, and a friendly crew. This is our recipe to make a boat of happy ho**ers. Celebrated 50 years in business this season!
(1)

Since 1976, Happy Ho**er Charters has been the premier sport-fishing destination on Western Lake Superior. Our family-owned fleet is six boats strong, meaning we have that much more coverage to locate lake trout, salmon, walleye, and more. Whether you want to bond with your family or build a friendship with your coworkers, our large and well-equipped boats are ready to make your special event a success. At the end of the day, we know we’ve done our jobs when each of our passengers goes home a happy ho**er.

We’ve been treated to some gorgeous sunrises this September! 🌅
This one was captured aboard 5 Star Ho**er by Capt. Matt. Fall is always a beautiful time to have an amazing morning commute on the water.

Our July has brought plenty of hot weather and calm seas, and the fishing has been diverse! ☀️ We’ve had everything from Lake Trout and Salmon to Walleye hitting the lines.
As we head into August, we’ve only got 2 months left in the season. Don’t let summer go by without getting out on the water. Book your trip and let’s go fishing!

From stickbaits to spoons, rotators to dodgers, we’ve spent decades putting our tackle to the test. No matter the conditions, we’ve always got something the fish can’t resist!
