EPIC DRUMMOND ISLAND SEASON!

This short season on Drummond was one for the books for sure!!

We LIMITED OUT every single lake trout trip we ran! BOOM!

We LIMITED out the majority of our perch trips too! The perch fishing keeps coming back up here and I’ve been saying it for the last 4-5 years. It’s a slow to but it is coming back in my opinion

Still not the giant jumbos which I believe are getting caught in the nets and that’s why we are seeing many of the 13” and bigger

I believe we left all our clients going home HAPPY and that’s the MOST important thing!

I can’t wait till next fall for some more perch fishing FUN!

If you don’t have your date booked yet, you better hurry!

We are just going to be here for 3 weeks of perch fishing fun next season as of now so don’t miss out on it! Trips are filling fast!

Sept. 20-Oct 10 next season!

Drummond, it’s been real, it’s been fun and it’s been REAL FUN!!!!

FINISHED WITH A BANG!

NOTHA day NOTHA LIMIT!

The last sink full of perch for this season! Another HUNDRED!

Had a new crew today from Petoskey and they got treated with some hungry perch today and put the smack down on them!

Young 8yr old Grant started off showing us all how it was done!

Great time with lots of laughs with this group!

Thank you guys and we hope to see you again!

HELLUVA COUPLE DAYS!

What a great couple mornings with the Nederveld crew!

These boys put an absolute BEAT DOWN on some Drummond island perch!

This morning it was as fast as we could go CATCHING!

That filled the bucket QUICKLY!

Wow!! That was FUN!!

Didn’t even have time to take pictures today!

Can’t thank these guys enough for continuing to choose me as their guide over the years and I’m already looking forward to next year with them!

Thank you Jason, Luke, Rick and Arlo for continuing to fish with us and for your wonderful generosity!

See you again next year!

MURDERED EM!

A sink full of BEAUTIES!

Got this crew their LIMITS and some this morning!

What a riot with LOTS of CATCHING!!

This was day 1 for the Nederveld crew today and they will be back to try a repeat performance tomorrow!

I’m hoping for the same results!

These guys out the hammer down on em today!

FATHER/SON TIME

I was fortunate enough to get to spend a couple hours on the water with my son this morning

He got his limit. I got most of mine before the rain came, and we called it a morning.

Time is short, don’t take it for granted. ❤️❤️❤️

TRIP 2

Well I ALWAYS post my trips even the struggle bus trips

Well tonight was just that. I think the front with the storms, that thankfully just missed us, had these fish grumpy!

We found plenty of fish just not plenty of ones that wanted to actually EAT!

We still worked hard and managed to put 41 and a pike in the bucket for my West Virginia crew!

Always enjoy having Rachel and her husband Jody up here each year as they come up rabbit hunting and normally spend a day with me fishing.

This year they had a good friend Murphy join them.

We covered a lot of water this events and did everything we could and thankfully, although tough, we came up with a nice bag of fish for this crew!

Jody caught his very first PIKE tonight and he was pretty darn excited and that makes me excited as well!

Thank you guys for continuing to fish with me each year, your generosity and I’ll be looking forward to seeing you again next year! Safe travels guys!

TRIP 1

Couldn’t find the jumbos I’ve been on lately but we took what the lake gave us today.

Managed to put 84 in the bucket for this returning crew this morning on a beautiful Drummond Island morning.

Always lots of laughs and maybe even some banter with this crew. lol

Lots and lots of catching today. We stayed very busy catching fish and sorting our way along!

Can’t complain with catching and being busy.

Thank you guys for continuing to fish with me, your generosity and your bookings for next year!

SLOW GO TODAY!

I’m not sure if it was the cold night as we had a heavy frost this morning or what but these fish were in a MOOD!

We found LOTS of fish but couldn’t hardly get them to even react this morning in most places.

We picked away at 58 of them got this crew.

We even got to see two eagles and two deer swimming from island to island. Pretty cool

Ninitte always makes a FUN trip as she keeps me on my toes and keeps us all laughing!

It was nice to have Bob and Ninitte back this year and they brought their friend Rob with them this time who was also a delight to have aboard!

💪💪HAD TO PUT THE WORK IN TODAY💪💪💪

We had to fight the elements once again today with wind gusts near 40mph and water turning to mud from the winds yesterday and today but we persevered and brought this crew back to the dock with another HUNDRED!!

LIMITS all the way around for this crew once again today!

Had a great start and then the fish vanished with only 34 in the bucket.

Took a LOT of moving to find the “right ones” again but once we did we didn’t move again until the counter hit 100!!

These guys stayed patient with me and it paid off for them!

Marty and Kathy have been perch fishing with me for a handful of years now and brought some Bob and Michelle with them this year who are pretty green to fishing but they caught on quickly even on a challenging day and had a blast.

As usual Kathy prepared a beautiful feast for us on the boat and it’s always delicious
