Don’t forget to get your fall perch fishing trips on Drummond island booked NOW!

Little known secret, we have been catching perch the last week or so and lots of them. Not a lot of size yet but we found some summer perch and it’s still fun

WORK WORK WORK

No two trips are the same around here for sure.

The strong south wind against the ridiculous west current sure proved to be challenging this afternoon. On top of that the water turned a very weird cloudy green color

We stayed after it and made it happen getting this couple limits once again!

We lost 3 fish, missed 6 and landed 6.

A challenging afternoon for sure BUT we finished with a GREAT result!!

Kaiden caught his very first lake trout today which was super cool! Congrats Kaiden!

Thank you guys for coming out today and thank you for your generosity!

BEAUTIFUL MORNING AT THE OFFICE!!

We had a father in law/son duo today and they were awesome to have on the boat. So appreciative!

We started off the first 2 plus hours trying to find a stupid king salmon and came up completely empty!! Ughh they have to show up at some point right??????

After we gave that some time with no results we headed for lake trout

Well that started off with 2 misses and slow to start.

Paid attention and realized there was a giant current opposite of the wind direction which made things quite interesting for sure

Got that figured out and in short order got their limits of lake trout and had a great time doing it

Mark and Nathan, it was a true pleasure to have you aboard this morning and all your appreciation and positive attitudes! We thank you for that and for your generosity as well!

Can’t wait to see you guys again!

Lake trout fishing right now is absolutely INSANE!

The last three days since being back from vacation have been incredible. The bite is super fast and these fish are angry and aggressive!

Had this crew from New Jersey and they put a beat down on the lakers.

We went 12 for 13 getting their LIMITS and having a BLAST doing it!!

Craig, has been on the boat with me before walleye fishing up here but his first time lake trout fishing with me and he was celebrating his birthday with family!

He got some great birthday fish!

Happy birthday again Craig!!

BANG BANG BANG!

WOW! What a GREAT morning at the office

This crew decided to give some silver fish a try for a bit before going for lake trout

Spent the first two hours doing that with success but not success. lol

Had an Atlantic so so close to the boat before it got off, lost another king or Atlantic that was screaming drag and then lost another one that we aren’t sure what it was so we went 0 for 3 on silvers and decided to change up the gear for lakers

SMOKE SHOW for those!

Doubles doubles and more doubles!

Went 11 for 17 in a very short time.

Got their limits and then pulling lines the Capt and mate each got a bonus fish as well.

Lots of banter and lots of FUN!

GREAT MORNING TO BE BACK TO WORK

The lakers were snapping this morning.

16 bites before 9:00 this morning. Busy busy busy, just the way I like it

We did, however, come in one shy of their limit as we had most of the rods in and knowing we needed just one more, the crew opted to just call it instead of resetting as one was feeling the greatest anyway.

So 11 for 16 and lots of FUN!

Thank you guys as it was good to have you back again!

This crew were determined they wanted to fish for walleye and I had told them I haven’t even been out for them here this year but they said give it a go so we did

We went 7 for 7 tonight with 2 pike and 5 walleye. Unfortunately one of the walleye was too short

They all said they had a great time and Emily caught the biggest fish of her adulthood which was the biggest fish of the night. Wahoo

Not bad for not having even been out for them.
