Pies, Waterfalls and a Memorable Dinner!
Apparently, you can’t drive through Pofadder without stopping for one of the area’s famous pies, so naturally we had to investigate.
After refuelling both the vehicles and ourselves on Day Five, we continued south to visit the Nieuwoudtville Waterfall, before making our way to Calvinia.
Our overnight stop was Die Blou Nartjie Guesthouse, followed by dinner at their Restaurant. And what a dinner it was. Of all the meals enjoyed during the trip, this one was certainly among the stand-outs.
Good roads are important on a road trip. Good food helps too!
