Throughly enjoyed my first listen through new album ‘The Boys Of Dungeon Lane’. The absolute stand out for me was ‘Momma Gets By’ which I’d rate a solid 9/10 compared to McCartney’s earlier work. Closely followed by ‘Days We Left Behind’ and ‘Mountain Top’. I felt that ‘Never Know’ wouldn’t be musically out of place on Revolver, nor ‘First Star Of The Night’ on Flaming Pie. AND the ‘Oh Yeah Oh Yeah’ on ‘Down South’ reminded me so much of ‘I’ll Get You’.

Musically, solid. I love Macca’s lead guitar playing and generally the production is full and it’s one of McCartneys best since Flaming Pie (97).
