As part of America's 250th commemorations, Lincoln at Gettysburg will recreate Abraham Lincoln's historic 1863 visit, complete with a presidential procession through town and a recreation of the Gettysburg Address at Soldiers' National Cemetery.

Events begin the week of November 16, with special recreations on November 18.

Happy Birthday to President Dwight D. Eisenhower!🎂

Born on October 14, 1890, our nation's 34th president shared a special connection with Gettysburg.

Just outside of town, Eisenhower and First Lady Mamie made their home on a farm that served as a presidential retreat, a place to welcome world leaders, and eventually their retirement home.

Today, we celebrate his legacy and the special place Gettysburg held in his life.
